Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Sqwhere: Doodle Puzzle mobile game, formerly called Square Within (the "App") and this website, operated by Find the Square, Inc. ("we", "us"). Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using the App or this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you cannot legally agree to these Terms yourself, please use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian who agrees to them on your behalf.

2. Your license

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you got it from. We and our licensors keep all rights, title and interest in the App, including its puzzles, artwork, name and logo.

3. Fair use

You agree not to:

• tamper with, modify or interfere with the App or its services;
• reverse engineer or decompile the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• exploit bugs in purchases, coins or ads, or manipulate ad interactions;
• manipulate leaderboards or scores, for example with automation, modified clients or exploits;
• commit fraud or make unauthorized purchases or chargebacks.

4. Ads

The App may show ads provided by Google, subject to the privacy choices described in our Privacy Policy. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for advertisers' products or websites.

5. Optional purchases and virtual coins

The App may offer optional coin packs when available. Coins can be earned or bought and redeemed in the App, for example for hints in Ranked play. Hint costs can differ by hint type and are shown in the App before you use a hint. Coins:

• have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money;
• are not transferable and can only be redeemed within the App;
• are not a cryptocurrency, investment or gambling product.

Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and their billing and refund policies apply. The price shown in the store before you buy is the price you pay. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights you have under applicable law.

Coins are consumable. Coins that have been spent cannot be restored, and restoring unspent or unfinished purchases may be limited by what the store and our systems can verify. If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us at support@sqwhere.cc and we will help. We will not take away paid value you hold without a reason permitted by these Terms and applicable law, such as fraud or a refunded transaction.

6. Availability and progress

We work to keep Sqwhere enjoyable, but we may change, suspend or discontinue features or the App. We do not promise permanent availability. Practice and Ranked progress is saved in local storage on your device and may be synced to a developer backend we configure using a guest wallet identifier and device credential. When platform save services are enabled and you are signed in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, progress and coin balance may also be saved and synced through a developer backend we configure. We do not guarantee that these services will be available at all times or in every region, and without them, uninstalling the App or changing devices may lose progress.

7. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the App and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Find the Square, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Where appropriate, we may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, subject to applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here with an updated date, subject to any notice or other requirements of applicable law.
